Advancing Ideas, Inspiring Excellence
It is with great pride, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility that I address you as the Chairperson of the ICAI Toronto Chapter for 2026-2027. I am truly grateful for the trust and confidence placed in me to lead this vibrant community of Chartered Accountants.
I am especially honoured to serve as the first woman Chairperson of our Chapter. This milestone reflects the evolving inclusivity and strength of our profession, and I hope it inspires future leaders—particularly young professionals and women—to step forward with confidence and purpose.
Our Chapter has been built on the vision and dedication of our past Chairpersons, Board members, volunteers, sponsors, and members. I sincerely thank them for laying the strong foundation that has made the Toronto Chapter one of the most active and respected overseas Chapters of ICAI.
Our theme for the year, "Advancing Ideas, Inspiring Excellence," reflects our commitment to innovation, professional growth, and meaningful engagement.
Advancing Ideas means embracing emerging technologies, evolving regulations, and changing global business landscapes while fostering continuous learning and knowledge sharing to keep our members future-ready.
Inspiring Excellence reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality professional development, leadership opportunities, mentorship, and networking that enable our members to excel in their careers and contribute meaningfully to society.
During the year, we will continue to deliver value through our flagship initiatives, including the ICAI International Conference, themed "Investment & Leadership Summit"; the Annual Gala; the International Women’s Day Celebrations; the Wealth Creation & Finance series; and a range of technical and professional development programs. We also remain committed to enhancing member engagement, expanding career support and mentorship opportunities, and strengthening partnerships with industry leaders and professional organizations.
